Before I can use it for change detection, what are the preprocessing steps required? or can I omit preprocessing since its been radiometrically and geometrically corrected according to the L1T specifications? deepgis Posted September 4, 2011 Report Share Posted September 4, 2011 First, Do the atmospheric correction using ATCOR 3D utility. The resultant image works very well for supervised and unsupervised classification. If you want to detect the changes using NDVI or TCT then you will have to convert your image into reflectance.
