Hello!
I have a contour map in .pdf file and I would like to import this map in ArcGIS.I have tried with Arcscan and it only gives the geographic coordinate.Therefore i should input the elevation data 1 by 1 on every line.
Question : is it possible to get elevation data from the pdf?or is it another software to convert the pdf?
Please Share me some tips

I'm currently working with the MODIS product MOD13Q1 (Vegetation Indices 16-Day L3 Global 250m) and I ran into some difficulties with the interpretation of the quality assessment information. I already posted my question on stackexchange ( http://gis.stackexchange.com/questions/171792/how-to-correctly-parse-modis-qa-layers ), but got no answers. Maybe anybody here has an idea?
