subsurface detection with remote sensing

Hello,

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what type of remote sensing can be used to detect subsurface features? Specifically, I am talking about tile drain systems buried underground in the Midwest. I can think of ground penetrating radar. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you.

can you specify how deep that object?

the only way I think is same as you, ground penetrating radar, but still it has shallow penetration

maybe you can combine with other technique like :

1. magnetic gradiometry

2. electrical resistivity

3. electromagnetic conductivity

4. magnetic susceptibility

5. and resistivity sounding
