nicki_d Posted February 14, 2012 Report Share Posted February 14, 2012 I am unpacking/installing software on new ashtech mobilemapper 100. We have several Trimble units, but wanted to give MM a shot. I have successfully downloaded terrasync to MM (mostly because I don't want to retrain my field crew). Can anybody tell me why I can't connect to GPS? It says the GPS is in use by another program, but I uninstalled MM Field. I can't get it to connect to the installed GPS from terrasync. (MM field connects to GPS just fine). When I attempt to find the GPS (which is installed on COM2) it hangs up and then quits trying. Virtual COM0 and COMs 4-6 are busy. COM1 doesn't show up and it also hangs on COM3, with no busy message. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
