Hi everyone! I was searching for a place to meet other GIS enthusiasts and this place seems like a good place to look! A short introduction: I come from the Netherlands, I've just finished my studies and I have just moved to another city to work on a project for a startup that's connected to the university. Currently I am trying to find ways to extract elevation data (DEM/DSM/point clouds) from stereo images and comparing the results to other sources of elevation data (lidar/ground truth). I have to learn a lot, because this is my first work project and I have never done anything with stereo images before. I like a challenge though, so I am sure that it will be interesting. I am looking forward to getting to know you all and to talk about GIS with you!
