any luck of scholarships? I would like to study a masteral degree about geoinformatics. I am working with GIS for almost six years yet no formal eduacation about it. Only trainings and associate it with many development plans. poor am I. :(

I never had formal education, is there a need to have one??? been working in GIS Mining Industry for the last 18 years and none of these companies I have worked in asked if I had a degree on GIS.

in the old days we only had to choose between Arcgis 3.x and Mapinfo 4.x, if you know how to use either of the two you got the job already as GIS.
