Classification techniques

Can anyone give me a very simple explanation of Artificial neural network (ANN) classification techniques and Support vector machine classification technique,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,i need very simple explanation to understand these classification, and if possible how to do the ANN classification, i mean the steps of this particular classification

Similarly,Thre is no easy way to learn understand neural network classifcation if you dont have 'basics in neural network'.

I shall help u if u can learn following basic things in ANN.....

1.Multi layer perceptron

2.Input layer,hidden layer and output layer

3.Back propagation algorithm

4. Layer connectivity and their associated weights

 

Then I shall tell u how to use our image in this....

 

You can use the NPTEL video lectures by Prof.Sengupta from IIT khargpur to learn fundamentals(Atleat see his first 10 videos).It is freely available in you tube.
