  1. Do-It-Yourself Geo Apps February 3 - March 2, 2016 Anyone can build apps on the ArcGIS Platform. You don’t have to be a software developer to build valuable geo-enabled apps that make your communities smarter and businesses more successful. This course will show you how to combine location and narrative in one application to better communicate and broadcast your story, create custom web applications that solve problems in your community, and build powerful native applications for iOS and Android devices without touching a piece of code. If you are a developer, you’ll be interested in Esri’s APIs, SDKs, and the buzzing GeoDev community. for registering for course http://www.esri.com/mooc/diy-geo-apps
  2. thanks soooooooooo much darksabersan......My best regards to you
  3. how can making rotation for topo map without any changes in pixel size, resolution and location???
  4. nice share...... thanks
  5. lDCM image acquired March 18, 2013 in Bands 6,5,4, sharpened with panchromatic band LDCM/Landsat 8 First Image Data Product - tar.gz (899 MB) NOTE: This sample image is considered Engineering data, which implies that the data do not meet the exact specification as when the Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) is declared operational in May. These data should be used with intention and caution with the following caveats in mind: Because LDCM is not on its correct orbit path, there may be geometric issues to be aware: The pixel size is slightly smaller than it will be once maneuvered to the final orbital altitude. The width of the swath (side-to-side distance) is slightly narrower than it will be for operational products. The position of the entire image will not correspond directly to operational images take once LDCM is on the WRS-2 orbit. The raw data were processed using pre-launch calibration coefficients for both radiometric and geometric corrections. These coefficients are being refined and validated during the on-orbit commissioning phase. The sample data are being provided to help familiarize the community with the format of the data products that will be produced following commissioning with updated calibrations. download http://landsat.usgs....DataProduct.php

  7. Maps and the Geospatial Revolution Anthony C. Robinson Learn how advances in geospatial technology and analytical methods have changed how we do everything, and discover how to make maps and analyze geographic patterns using the latest tools. Jul 17th 2013 (5 weeks long) About the Course The past decade has seen an explosion of new mechanisms for understanding and using location information in widely-accessible technologies. This Geospatial Revolution has resulted in the development of consumer GPS tools, interactive web maps, and location-aware mobile devices. These radical advances are making it possible for people from all walks of life to use, collect, and understand spatial information like never before. This course brings together core concepts in cartography, geographic information systems, and spatial thinking with real-world examples to provide the fundamentals necessary to engage with Geography beyond the surface-level. We will explore what makes spatial information special, how spatial data is created, how spatial analysis is conducted, and how to design maps so that they’re effective at telling the stories we wish to share. To gain experience using this knowledge, we will work with the latest mapping and analysis software to explore geographic problems. link https://www.coursera.org/course/maps
