Hi again Lurker, Yup multidimensional toolbox failed to open the file. I did a google search and found out that netcdf4 is somehow having a big different from netcdf3. I tried to download FME is software section but the link is dead/no medicine?.

Thank you very much Badar, I am not good in programming. But if it is the only way I could read and export the day, I should try.

Hi Guys, I really need your help. I am working with temperature data from NOAA AVHRR. The files format is netcdf4. Getting stuck to open the data. Arcmap 9.3, Idrisi Taiga failed to open it. My main objective is to open the data and save it to other format so that I can use common remote sensing software e.g Idrisi taiga, PCI or Envi. Anybody? Cheers Syah
