rahmansunbeam Posted April 3, 2013 Report Share Posted April 3, 2013 classifying geomorphology from satellite data may not work. Geo-morphology is hardly identifiable from the surface characteristics , it needs excavation, understanding soil/rock characteristics, quite a few chemical testing in the lab and few other techniques( remembering the geology classes back at my university !!!) you'll need quite a lot field visit, sampling, testing etc...i think. try some old map and update rather than doing from scratch.
