  1. Hi I haven't logged in for a long time, I want to regularize my status. Thanks in advance
  2. ENVI and USGS GeoTIFF with Metadata format data The USGS now provides data in the GeoTIFF with Metadata format. ENVI software can easily convert the optical band data to ToA reflectance values when you open the USGS file that ends with “_MTL.TXT”. ENVI will automatically open the Landsat image as multiple files with the 6 or 7 bands of optical data as one of several files. To create a reflectance data file using ENVI Classic, from the ENVI main menu bar select Basic Tools |Preprocessing |Calibration Utilities |Landsat Calibration. Select the optical data file (it has six or seven bands) and the ENVI Landsat Calibration dialog should open with all of the calibration parameters filled in. Click on the Reflectance radio button and enter an output file name. For ENVI Standard, select from the Toolbox | Radiometric Correction | Radiometric Calibration. Select the optical data file and the Radiometric Calibration dialog opens. Under Calibration Type choose Reflectance and save the new file. As a reminder, reflectance values range from 0.0 to 1.0 and are stored in floating point data format.

  4. Great Topic When you have ASTER Image lever 3b, you data is in Radiance you need to convert that data in Reflectance, with ENVI with FLASSH module you will use the make atmospheric corrections to change radiance values to reflectance to do spectral analyst, and another important thing is resampling your spectral library that you can use with ASTER. I can no make the exact process, because I don't know all the steps. This is a bit of what I know.
  5. Hi I tried to made spectral analisys to ASTER image. I have mi 3A level ASTER image in .hdf format. I use ENVI With ENVI I open the .hdf and ENVI make auto-correct for ASTER Radiance I re-size the SWIR band to 15m pixel I made layer stacking to VNIR_SWIR bands and convert to .BIL With the VNIR_SWIR .BIL image a made a correct atmospheric correction with FLAASH to convert radiance to reflectance I resample te USGS spectral library to ASTER I use the mapping method Spectral angled mapper I change the Y scale from the spectral library to 10000 to si the values 10*4 to have the same values from my image Z values for spectrum I select for example from the spectral library Kaoli to use in spectral angle mapper and in Maximun angle (radiand) I change to 1 because in .100 this dont show me nothign in SAM classification But the problem is for the al spectral I made this show me the same pixels
