Calculate statics from two diffrent NDVI in ENVI

Hi,

I have two diffrent NDVI for two years  I want to find statestic informations of them and compare them.How can I export area of diifrent values in NDVI?Or do you know a better way to compare this two NDVI to show changes?

is easy just make in erdas, envi or arcgis and comparison between both NDVI and export the change site, if use erdas you can comparison both image and export the changes....regards

Thank you..I can get change map using change detection in Envi.But I need amount of area in m2 that has been changed..I want to extract statics from NDVI..I don't know how to explain :( 

I must classify NDVI again in case of getting area of each class in NDVI?
