the polygons represent settlements. Each has problems related to different government office. Some need hospitals, some new road to the settlement and so on. I want to be able to show all the settlements that have specific problem but i don't want to create new layer for each kind of problem because some of the problems relate to the same polygons.

I want to create to create afew polygons. Each polygon may have property A, B, C or D and also more than one property. How can represent that graphically? I don't want of course to use color for every option (i.e. green of Property A, yellow for properties B and C etc.)
